Albert Jill (real name Aurelio Alberto Maria Giovannella) was from Calabria region, he died in 2010 leaving behind a large collection of approximately eight hundred artworks.
No wonder the apartment has a rich history behind it: in fact, the artist’s profound love for the alleys of Rome’s historical center led him to buy the apartment where he moved in the late 80’s, during the years of studies of his daughter Elena, the current owner.

You’ll be curious to know that in his lifetime, Jill has always refused to sell his paintings. This affection and jealousy to his personal works is the reason why the collection is still so wide, even after his paintings were posthumous selected at several international exhibitions and won different awards.
